I studied to become a teacher. I ended up becoming a photographer. I love them both, and I dream of one day combining the two. Every year around this time, I get to “practice” teaching photography by sharing a little of what I know with some aspiring photography students. I love it. This year, I took the students onto the mountain for a little bridal shoot. I really do believe that actual practice is 10 times more valuable than sitting in a classroom. For the most part, my role was to oversee things as the students took their own pics, but of course I couldn’t resist taking a few myself! ;)

I was so pleased when Miesqa agreed to be our model. She was one of the very first people I ever did a test shoot with (like 4 years ago). She never disappoints.
