On a cloudless October afternoon, the scene was set for one of the most relaxed and joyful weddings I’ve had the privilege of capturing. All pretences were ditched, and a fun country theme was adopted. Guests were encouraged to dress up for the occasion and live country music and barn dancing were the order of the day! How could we not have so much fun capturing the celebration that unfolded?

As a wedding photographer, you are given the unique opportunity of getting a little glimpse into the heart and soul of the two people getting married. You get to observe how they treat those around them, how they are spoken to and about,  and even how they cope under stress. Well, photographing Al and Nix’s wedding showed me just what beautiful humans these two are, both inside and out. They love each other so unreservedly, and have such warm and open hearts.
